Working Americans should not have to worry about dental insurance but many of us do. Here are some resources that should be able to assist you. Contact your local dental society to get the names of dentists/dental clinics that provide free, low-cost or sliding scale fee care. I have included the links below. God Bless. (I’m a Social Worker)

I am not sure of any State funded programs but I have a great plan that has tons of providers in Kansas and is SO affordable. My entire household is covered for 19.95/month, plus you get vision, rx, and chiropractic included for free! And the best thing is that you can use if right away and there are no exclusions. Check out their benefits website http://www.everyonebenefits.com/trishj

I don’t know if you saw this or not, but try it if you’ve not done so:

Health Centers provide health and dental care to people of all ages, whether or not they have health insurance or the money to pay for health care.
Find the Health Center closest to you

Hill-Burton Free & Reduced Cost Care at hospitals, nursing homes and other facilities are required to provide a specific amount of free or below cost health care to people unable to pay. Eligibility is based on the size of your family and your income. You apply for Hill-Burton care at the facility where you were or will be treated.
More about Hill-Burton and find facilities in your State

See if you have any COMMUNITY COLLEGES with dental hygiene programs. The students work with REAL dentists on highly discounted procedures for the experience.

Look for dental schools as well–same concept–students getting experience and prices are way lower.

Call around for discount dentists. In Phoenix, the average cost of a crown is more than $ 900. My dentist who takes NO insurance whatsoever so he can hold costs down charges $ 500–so yes, you can possibly save about half if you find another dentist who does NOT take insurance. It really jacks costs up to jump through hoops and wait and wait for pay.

    Good luck.

ASI Health Insurance, this is the best affordable health insurance out they provide to individuals, families and buisnesses. ASI gives you better coverage than most and for a far better price, I myself work for the company and they are BBB approved.
