Just my hubby & I at home & NO, we are of the 47million I just heard Obama say who don’t have insurance..I don’t know if you are watching him but he is almost off the air but has been on for half an hour.

  2. Star Says:

Don’t know about your first reply, our children are on their own and no we only have medicare.

  3. Bonnie S Says:

I was on state health care at times and health care from work at other times but my children always had health care. I however have had times with no coverage. I now am in a bind because I can’t afford the Cobra payment from my former employer and the state I’m in requires all people to have health insurance or be fined. I have applied for help from the state and it has been over two months and still have no response, in the mean time I have gotten further in debt paying well over $ 500 a month for individual coverage while unemployed. SO much for the brilliant idea to fine people for not being insured. The fine is $ 900 at tax time. So basically if you can’t afford health insurance you have to pay for not having it or go to jail. Nice theory I wonder when they will start the work houses for the poor.

  4. S. J Says:

I’m Canadian. All my health care is free , but I pay taxes to support our system. Americans should try it – 10 s of millions would support such a system – if you can get over your weird anti-socialist bias.

  5. noonecanne Says:

I did have health and dental and vision for my children when they were young. Hubby and I have excellent health care now… wouldn’t be without it. Insurance saved us when I had cancer 4 years ago. I’ve been looking into insurance for our dog, but it just doesn’t seem worth it.

  6. Jackie Blue Says:

My husband has good insurance with the company he works for. We consider ourselves fortunate and blessed to have it. Yes, we have dental as well. Children are grown.

  7. Autumn Leaves -- Boo! Says:

no children or partner, just barely have coverage for myself

  8. Robert D Says:

Yes and the government should be supporting school for nursing and other medical. That would keep costs down In Lincoln Nebraska, students have to wait a long time to get into nursing school. Thus, many find other careers.

  9. MR. KNOW-IT-ALL Says:

    WELL…. LET’S SEE NOW….

I’m one of the very fortunate people who can answer
“YES” to all three of your “combined questions.”

My father always told me that ANYONE who would attempt
to co-create and raise children without having proper and
adequate health insurance is HEADED FOR TROUBLE
in the form of TOTAL FINANCIAL FAILURE !!!

I happen to believe the same is TRUE for any and all
SENIOR CITIZENS……….. the “DECK” is “STACKED”
    AGAINST US !!!!

  10. UOM Says:

When our children were living with us they had health, dental and vision insurance and were covered for prescriptions. Wife and I had supplement health insurance from GM but they decided to screw us out of it so now we have to pay for it out of our fixed income. Ask me if I will be loyal to GM!

  11. jst4pat Says:

We have always had health and dental for the family through either my or my husbands work..now that we are retired my work pays all health plan, no co pay, {drugs, hospital, MRI, labs any thing that is ordered} we pay nothing for this health plan..{do pay our medicare money like everyone else} altho I did work 20 hrs a week for 10 years to get it. No dental, but with what I save in health plan I can very well afford to pay the dental bill..altho I sure screamed loud and clear when last week I needed a root canal $ 1250.00 and next week a crown {another $ 1200.00} The retirement benefit covers both of us..for my lifetime..And I know how fortunate we are..

  12. goldwing Says:

Yes, and it costs dearly! 1503.00 per month! I cannot imagine not having it, but then again, there could easily come a day when I cannot afford it…nothing is for sure in this climate or life!

  13. joanaporter Says:

I worked in civil service and had all health care benefits for myself and my children. When I retired at 62 I had exceptionally high Cobra and had to drop out. At 65 Medicare kicked in and I have added on all those little add-ons that are alphabetically listed. Sorry, no partner.

  14. curious connie Says:

I had no health care until my youngest was three. I went to work for a union grocery chain that had excellent benefits, health, dental, and vision. I have none now. I can’t get medicare for another fourteen months.

  15. Lynn Says:

By health care, do you mean insurance, or if we took them to the
doctors? And this is not meant to be trolled upon. The question is not
clear, so I have to ask.
I will assume you mean medical care. And to that, I answer yes. But
we didn’t have insured medical care. We paid out of our pocket, since
we didn’t have insurance. We were lucky that our children did not have
many health problems, and they also inherited good teeth and gums.
My husband and I have Medicare, and VA membership. And we
also have Medicaid, should we need it also. We are covered, but not
totally. Dental care is very slim. There is no coverage for any crowns or
expensive ordeals. Especially not from the VA, or Medicaid. So we
are on our own financially to provide that for ourselves. And living on a
slim budget, makes it impossible. So in my case, I have faced having
to get teeth pulled eventually for a set of bottom false teeth. The high
cost for crowning is unnafordable for most people without insurance.
And we seem to have slipped through the cracks. In England, they
take better care of their seniors. And I’d much rather have paid more
into the system when young, than facing the omission of needed
    dental care today.

  16. Kenny Says:

no health care yet, still working on it. Thanks for asking though

  17. abuelamah Says:

We always had health care for our children all six of them and we had two grand children on our health plan. We have the same health care now that my husband had before he retired.
My husband retired from the state and all of our children had health care until age 23.
We will be covered until we die.

  18. kiwi Says:

Husband was in the military, so we had the best health care then. And dental,

Yes, we do have health care.

  19. June smiles Says:

Do not expect Obama’s plan to work, at least not for us who are older. We will be judged not worthy for big bucks to be spent on us, even if it is a 99% chance of giving us a longer quality life.

  20. Ret. Sgt. Says:

My kids and family have always had health insurance. When employed on the Police department, this was free to us. When I retired and now work for our local hospital, I have insurance for us and my daughter. Son is on his own and my daughter is in college so wont have her on the insurance much longer.

The main reason I work at all is for the insurance. ( well the money is ok too)

  21. Cupcake NAN Says:

Yep always did. My husband was in a union which provided health insurance with the $ 400 a year union dues. Now he’s retired and can still get the insurance as long as he keeps up his membership.
The dental coverage alone made it worthwhile.

  22. yammee Says:

Every-one here has full dental care and every other kind of health care(no 47million here without)Its called The national Health Service.
